Privacy Policy

How GammaTape collects and uses your data, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

The data controller is GammaTape (Quai du Parc, 94100 Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, France). For any privacy request, contact gammatape@gmail.com.

Data we collect

  • Account data: email, identifiers, preferences.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe. We never store full card numbers.
  • Subscription data: plan, date, amount, status.
  • Technical data: IP address, pages viewed, logs, essential cookies.

Why we use it & legal bases

  • Provide and operate the service, and manage accounts — performance of the contract.
  • Process payments and meet accounting obligations — legal obligation.
  • Secure the service and prevent fraud, and improve the product — legitimate interest.
  • Optional communications — consent.

Payments (Stripe)

Payments are handled by Stripe, a secure payment provider. The data needed to process a transaction may be shared with Stripe to complete payment, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. GammaTape does not store full card numbers.

Cookies

GammaTape uses cookies in two categories:

  • Necessary — keep you signed in (Supabase session), secure the service, process payments via Stripe, and remember an affiliate referral code (`gt_ref`) when you arrive from a creator link. These are required for the product to work and do not need consent.
  • Analytics & advertising — only after you click Accept on the cookie banner: Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights (traffic / performance), and Google Ads conversion measurement when configured. Choosing "Necessary only" keeps these off.

You can change your mind anytime by clearing site data for gammatape.com in your browser (the banner will ask again). Blocking all cookies may break sign-in.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active; billing data is kept for the legal retention period; support messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request.

Sharing

Data may be shared with our technical providers (hosting, email, payment) and with Stripe for payments, or with authorities where the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the EU, in which case appropriate safeguards are applied under the GDPR.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdraw consent at any time — contact gammatape@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr).

Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect your data: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access, vetted providers and technical monitoring.
